School by School was founded by Marie-Louise Almgren after many years visiting India and Rajasthan.
The first benches for Chitardai School was bought in 2006 by Inhouse AB, School by School’s first benefactor.
In early 2010 School by School was registered as a non-profit organization and started its current activities.
