School friends in Sweden

This autumn we’re getting involved with primary schools here in Sweden. There’s so much inspiration and creativity in our schools at home so it’s with great anticipation we are starting up these projects and introducing them to our schools in India. More info will follow soon!
We also think it’s great that in the Swedish ‘Läroplan’ (official education plan) these points are now included:
- We will be developing the children’s ability to show consideration for and their will to help others. 
- We will be encouraging the children’s global awareness.

We can’t but agree that this is of vital importance to all children!

Last week the schools Ghodatalai and Verawas finally got their new benches! Now we’re onto the next project – getting the teachers more learning & study material.

Buy Christmas gifts from Boklunden!

On Wednesday December 1st Boklunden in Stockholm will donate 10% of all sales to School by School!

Marie-Louise Almgren will also be there in the afternoon between 5-6.30pm to talk about School by School and her travels to India.
